The Amateur Fight League

The Amateur Fight League was founded out of Elizabeth City, NC in 2008. Our first event Fight to the Finish I was held in the National Guard Armory in Elizabeth City, NC followed by our first sanctioned event, Fight to the Finish II in Greenville, NC August 30, 2008. Since then we have hosted many sanctioned MMA and Tough-man bouts as well as MMA and Muay Thai Sparring Tournaments, grappling super-fights, and Jiu-jitsu competitions.

Our goal is to provide amateur athletes with a platform to gain competition experience through smaller sparring tournaments, prior to scheduling a sanctioned match in front of large crowd.
